36 1/2 Week Baby #2 Update

I've been slacking on the blog, but since I'm getting so close to baby #2's due date I figured I should do an update so I don't forget everything!  I'm just about 37 weeks (on Thursday), which means any day now it will be 'safe' to have the baby.  I am definitely at the point where I'm soooo ready to have him!  BUT, I do hope he waits at least another week or two :-)  I'm a crazy planner so while I can't wait to meet him, I have a lot of things I still need to get done before he gets here (work, decorating, etc.).  Plus I've planned out my maternity leave to where I'm coming back at a certain date and I don't want to get too off track from the plan!

I'm fairly confident he will be making an early appearance though.  Last Thursday I had my 36 week check up and was already dilated 1 to 2 cm.  He's also already dropped into position and has been for about a month now.  And this past weekend I've started having Braxton Hicks contractions, maybe about 4 a day.  I never really had them with Alexa but they actually seem to be more painful than what I remember of labor with Alexa!  Last night I had one and thought for a minute I might actually be going into labor then!  Luckily it passed though.  If I had to put my money on a date I'd say maybe September 12th or 13th :-)

NAME UPDATE
We were still undecided about a name up until last week when I think we finally reached an agreement.  I LOVE the name Greyson but Brian for some reason refuses to name him this.  I held out hope that he'd change his mind but he just won't!  Second choice was Dylan but we know at least two other Dylan's and wanted to do something different.  So third choice is Keaton.  I really like this name too but the only drawback is I feel like I really need to enunciate when I say it so people understand what I'm saying.  But I'm willing to look past that as there's just no other boy names that I really love!

So the verdict is in (unless the judge changes her mind at the last minute!) and his name will be Keaton Michael Fisher.  The other day I told Lexi her brother's name and asked her to say it.  She can only get out "Keat".  Then yesterday when I asked her to say Keaton she says "Keat, meow meow."  Ha ha!  She thinks we're saying "kitten".  I guess she'll figure it out eventually :-)

I have a sonogram this Thursday so I'll get to see how much he weighs.  I have a feeling he'll be bigger than Lex was when she was born (6lbs 1oz) but I bet he won't be much more than 7lbs.  I'll update more after the sono this week!
