Shedd Aquarium

This past weekend we took a mini-vacation to Chicago. We thought it would be fun to take Alexa to Shedd Aquarium. We left Saturday morning and Lex did sooo good on the way up. She slept the entire time! When we got to Chicago we had the best weather! It was sunny and beautiful! We walked around and looked at all the different exhibits. Lex watched a few of the fish and other sea animals but she seemed more interested in all the people! Here's a pic of her looking at some fish with Daddy.


Just outside of Shedd is Lake Michigan and an amazing view of the city. We had attempted to take a family pic inside, but as you can see Lex decided to grab my boob. We made a second attempt with the great view but Lex wasn't really interested in looking at the camera. She was trying to get her sunglasses off!


Overall we had a great time at the aquarium but I think Lexi would have been just as happy sitting around people watching! I think we'll wait another year or so before taking her to anything like this again so that she can enjoy it more!
